Basketball Recap: Pro-Vision Academy Comes Up Short

Pro-Vision Academy kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against the West Brook Bruins, falling 89-28. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row dating back to last season.

West Brook found their leader in sophomore Austin Stewart, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for Stewart. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Polidore, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 18 points.

The victory was the third in a row for West Brook, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Pro-Vision Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 77-44 defeat against Lincoln on the 5th. As for West Brook, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 78-59 win against Silsbee on the 6th.
