Basketball Recap: Scranton Prep Has No Trouble Against Abington Heights

Scranton Prep hadn't done well against Abington Heights recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Scranton Prep Cavaliers took down the Abington Heights Comets 75-57. For the Cavaliers, this counts as revenge for the 89-64 victory the Comets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

The win got Scranton Prep back to even at 4-4. As for Abington Heights, they dropped their record down to 5-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scranton Prep will take on West Scranton at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Abington Heights, they will challenge Valley View at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
