Softball Recap: Modoc Takes a Loss

Modoc fell victim to Mt. Shasta and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 19-0 to the Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-1 on Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Modoc and nudges their season record down to 1-10. As for Mt. Shasta, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

Modoc and Mt. Shasta will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Braves see the field they'll take on Fall River at 4:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Mt. Shasta, their break will end when they face Weed at 2:00 p.m. on the 17th.
