Basketball Recap: Clinton County Comes Up Short

Clinton County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Pickett County Bobcats 75-39. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 147th in Kentucky, while the Bobcats are ranked 30th in Tennessee).

Clinton County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Pickett County, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3.

Coming up, Clinton County will square off against Casey County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pickett County, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bobcats challenge the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
