Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt lost against Mitchell back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Roosevelt Rough Riders fell to the Mitchell Kernels 42-38.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Mitchell, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will square off against Jefferson at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Roosevelt is facing Jefferson at the right time seeing as Jefferson is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Mitchell, they will challenge Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lincoln's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
