Sauk Prairie entered their tilt with McFarland on Saturday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 on Tuesday.

Sauk Prairie easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12.

Mallory Hartwig paced Sauk Prairie's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hartwig got some help from Alaina Kraemer and her 11 assists. Kraemer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Sauk Prairie's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for McFarland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-19.

Sauk Prairie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Edgewood on the 11th. As for McFarland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Stoughton on the 11th.
