Softball Recap: Boulder Creek Victorious

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Boulder Creek walked away with it. They walked away with a 4-0 win over the Marana Tigers on Wednesday.

Boulder Creek got a great performance from Kinsey Wilcox as she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Wilcox has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, McKayla Chapman was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Hale, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Boulder Creek's record is now 20-8. As for Marana, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-14 record this season.

Boulder Creek didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-0 defeat against Xavier College Prep on the 3rd. Marana does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
