Hyndman Charter School suffers third straight loss at home

Recap: Hyndman Charter School Hornets vs. Hancock Panthers

The Hyndman Charter School Hornets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They suffered a tough 49-28 defeat at the hands of Hancock. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Hyndman Charter School in their matchups with Hancock: they've now lost seven in a row.

Hancock got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tucker Welch out in front who scored nine points along with four steals. Jacob Anderson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds.

Hyndman Charter School's defeat was their third straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-1. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.7 points per game. As for Hancock, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2.

Hyndman Charter School will be home for the holidays to greet Salisbury Elk Lick at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th. As for Hancock, they will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Walsh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
