Volleyball Recap: Paintsville Wins Going Away Against Martin County

It was a proper cat-fight when Paintsville duked it out with Martin County on Thursday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cardinals. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Paintsville was: they took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12, 25-13.

Ella Wells was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 14 digs and two aces. Those 14 digs gave her a new career-high.

Paintsville now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Martin County, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
