Ocean Lakes has gone a perfect 8-0 against Salem recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Dolphins are taking a road trip to take on the Sundevils at 7:00 p.m. Ocean Lakes will be strutting in after a win while Salem will be coming in after a loss.

Ocean Lakes barely beat Kempsville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Dolphins blew past the Chiefs 5-1 on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Ocean Lakes considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, Salem fell victim to Kellam and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 8-0. Salem haven't had much luck with Kellam recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-1. As for Ocean Lakes, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3-1.

Ocean Lakes beat Salem 2-0 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dolphins since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
