Volleyball Recap: Omaha North Comes Up Short

Omaha North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Omaha Central Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Tamya Bush paced Omaha North's offense, picking up five kills. Bush got some help from Aubrey Young and her nine assists. Young was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Omaha Central found their leader in sophomore Aibreann Conn, who had ten digs and one assist.

Omaha North's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Omaha Central, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6.

Omaha North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Omaha Northwest on the 13th. As for Omaha Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Benson on the 13th.
