Hampton had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Ambridge Bridgers. With that win, the Talbots brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.

Eden Lawrence was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aliza Michielli, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hampton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive matches.

Hampton's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Ambridge, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hampton beat the Bridgers by a score of 15-0 later that day.
