Football Recap: Wyomissing's Undefeated Season over After Eight Games

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last five contests, Wyomissing finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They came up short against the Twin Valley Raiders, falling 28-6. The game marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Wyomissing fell to 7-1. As for Twin Valley, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wyomissing will face off against Octorara Area at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Twin Valley, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lampeter-Strasburg at 7:00 p.m. The Raiders will need to watch out since the Pioneers have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests.
