Volleyball Recap: Grosse Ile Takes a Loss

Grosse Ile was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Airport Jets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Grosse Ile's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Airport, their victory bumped their record up to 20-4-1.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Grosse Ile and Erie-Mason will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Airport, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Belleville on the 2nd.
