Softball Recap: Franklin Knights vs. Hickory Hornets

Franklin fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Hickory on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Hickory Hornets by a score of 7-5. Abigal Boland was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, and a double. Jillian Ewing was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
