Softball Recap: Century Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Century can now relate to. They fell 6-3 to the Glenelg Gladiators on Monday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Gladiators apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2018.

Century has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Glenelg, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Gladiators beat Century by a score of 6-3 later that day.
