Basketball Recap: Lee Vining Tigers vs. Big Pine Warriors
Lee Vining was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 58-38 to the Big Pine Warriors. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 34-29 last Tuesday.
Big Pine's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was NOAH ERICSON, who went 7 for 14 en route to 17 points along with six steals and five assists. ADAM MILLER was another key player, going 6 of 10 on his way to 15 points in addition to seven boards and five steals.
Lee Vining's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Big Pine, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lee Vining will challenge Mojave at 4:00 p.m. on February 7th. As for Big Pine, they will square off against Trona at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Trona will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Big Pine surely won't give up without a fight.
