Recap: Millard Eagles vs. Enterprise Wolves
If the Millard Eagles were feeling good off their 54-24 takedown of the Water Canyon Wildcats last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Millard suffered a tough 59-39 defeat at the hands of Enterprise on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Millard has suffered since December 1, 2023.
Despite the loss, Millard saw an underclassman step up: Emily Stephenson scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stephenson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Eliza Larsen, who scored six points.
Millard's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Enterprise, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.
Millard will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Kanab at 7:00 p.m. Kanab is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Enterprise, they will take on Beaver at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beaver will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
