With a playoff win on the line, Hatley rose to the challenge on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Eupora Eagles 4-2. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Emily Hill spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits.

At the plate, Hatley's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brileigh Lewis, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Hatley's win bumped their record up to 21-11. As for Eupora, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 28-5 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hatley beat the Eagles by a score of 5-4 on Friday.
