Lumen Christi faced Cook Inlet Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Archangels never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Lumen Christi's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Lumen Christi's win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 11-4-1. As for Cook Inlet Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Looking ahead, Lumen Christi will square off against Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Cook Inlet Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
