Basketball Recap: Conrad Science Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

On Saturday, the Conrad Science Red Wolves strolled past the Stamford Black Knights with points to spare, taking the game 71-54. Given the Red Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked ninth in Delaware, while the Black Knights are ranked 40th in Connecticut), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Stamford's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Sutton, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Damar Taylor, who posted ten points and six boards.

Conrad Science has already played their next game, a 66-62 win against Tolman on the 19th. As for Stamford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 55-45 victory against Hudson on the 19th.
