Soccer Game Preview: Hesston vs. Great Bend

The Hesston Swathers will face off against the Great Bend Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Hesston's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Hesston came up short against Hays on Saturday, falling 8-1. Hesston were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Meanwhile, Great Bend has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 13. They and West finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Great Bend as it put an end to their four-match losing streak.

With that draw, Great Bend's record moves to 2-7-1. As for Hesston, they now have a losing record of 5-6-1.
