Basketball Game Preview: Berrien Rebels vs. Jeff Davis Yellowjackets

After both having extra time off, the Berrien Rebels and the Jeff Davis Yellowjackets will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Berrien is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Two weeks ago, Berrien ended up a good deal behind Brooks County and lost 41-25. The game marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Jeff Davis didn't have too much trouble with Pierce County two weeks ago as they won 44-28.

Jeff Davis' victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Berrien, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Berrien came out on top in a nail-biter against Jeff Davis when the teams last played back in February, sneaking past 36-34. Will Berrien repeat their success, or does Jeff Davis have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
