Bassett fell victim to George Washington and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 35-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles. Having soared to a lofty 63 points in the game before, the Bengals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

David Cook threw for 101 yards on five of 22 attempts. Keelan Price-Kent was his top target, picking up 76 receiving yards.

Leading George Washington to victory were Stanford Lipscomb and Triston Newby. Lipscomb rushed for 64 yards and one score, while Newby rushed for 32 yards and one touchdown.
