Solon Springs's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They breezed by the Mercer Tigers to the tune of 72-36. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 27 points or more this season.

Solon Springs has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.3 points. As for Mercer, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Solon Springs will be playing at home against Bayfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bayfield knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully Solon Springs likes a good challenge. As for Mercer, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Mercer Tigers face off against the Wakefield Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
