Minooka waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Waubonsie Valley Warriors.

Connor Latta paced Minooka's offense, picking up 15 kills. Latta got some help from Nicholas Boyce and his 29 assists. Luke Kirin controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Minooka's victory bumped their record up to 13-16. As for Waubonsie Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

Minooka has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Timothy Christian on the 10th. As for Waubonsie Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Marmion on the 10th.
