Baseball Game Preview: Park Vista Cobras vs. Vero Beach Indians

For the second straight game, Park Vista will face off against Vero Beach. The Cobras will challenge the Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Park Vista 3.3, Vero Beach 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Park Vista heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Wednesday. They came up short against Vero Beach, falling 10-3. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Cobras, who until this matchup were averaging 3.32 runs allowed.

For Vero Beach's part, Cody Morgan made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Morgan was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.
