Football Game Preview: Thomas-Fay-Custer Terriers vs. Southwest Covenant Patriots

The Thomas-Fay-Custer Terriers will head out to take on the Southwest Covenant Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Thomas-Fay-Custer's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

On Thursday, Thomas-Fay-Custer blew past Texhoma/Goodwell, posting a 41-6 victory. The Terriers haven't had any issues with Texhoma/Goodwell recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southwest Covenant). They blew past Apache 47-14 on Thursday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Patriots with their most commanding win of the season.

Southwest Covenant's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Thomas-Fay-Custer, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Thomas-Fay-Custer strolled past Southwest Covenant in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a score of 34-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Terriers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
