Basketball Recap: New Life Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against Richwood

On Saturday, the New Life Christian Academy Lions strolled past the Richwood Lumberjacks with points to spare, taking the game 50-31. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

It was another big night for Jake Hamilton, who dropped a triple-double on 18 points, 15 rebounds, and 13 assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last 25 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Cameron McEarchern, who went 5 for 10 en route to 14 points and five boards.

New Life Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points per game. As for Richwood, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

New Life Christian Academy has already played their next matchup (against Heritage Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Richwood will welcome Highland at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
