             Hernando and Crystal River are an even 5-5 against one another  since January of 2020, but  not for long. Having just played yesterday, the Hernando Leopards will head out on the road to face off against the Crystal River Pirates  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hernando is coming into the  matchup hot, having won their last four games.
 Hernando is headed into the  game after thoroughly thrashing Hudson: they outscored them in every quarter. Hernando took down Hudson 64-47  on Thursday. That 17 point margin sets a new team best for the Leopards this season.
 Hernando's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Sam Jackson, who  scored 12 points in addition to five  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Joseph Rivera, who  went 5 for 10 en route to 11 points plus five  assists and five  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Crystal River came into Wednesday's   contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past West Port  49-47.
 Hernando's record now sits at 4-1. As for Crystal River, their record now sits at 2-3.
