Basketball Recap: Waelder Comes Up Short

Waelder lost against East Bernard back in December of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Waelder Wildcats came up short against the East Bernard Brahmas, falling 52-29. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Waelder's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for East Bernard, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-12.

Waelder will challenge Prairie Lea at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Waelder is facing Prairie Lea at the right time seeing as Prairie Lea is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for East Bernard, they will take on Hempstead at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. East Bernard will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Hempstead will have lost six straight heading into Friday's contest.
