Volleyball Game Preview: Episcopal Wildcats vs. Riverview Raiders

The Episcopal Wildcats will challenge the Riverview Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Episcopal will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Episcopal got the win against Bald Knob by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Episcopal was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Riverview unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Central Arkansas Christian.

Riverview was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 25-14.

Riverview's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-6. As for Episcopal, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.

Episcopal took their victory against Riverview in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
