Basketball Recap: Delaware County Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Calvary Christian Academy on Tuesday, Delaware County Christian came back down to earth. The Delaware County Christian Knights fell just short of the Johnsonburg Rams by a score of 56-53 on Wednesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Knights came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 54th, while the Rams are ranked 297th).

Delaware County Christian's loss dropped their record down to 24-3. As for Johnsonburg, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-8.

Delaware County Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Johnsonburg, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-53 victory against DuBois Central Catholic on the 19th.
