Softball Game Preview: Berea Bulldogs vs. Daniel Lions

The Berea Bulldogs will challenge the Daniel Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Berea's offense. They lost 10-0 to Pickens on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Daniel faced off against Seneca on Tuesday. The Lions fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 10-9.

Maddie Iams and Kaitlyn Judd stepped up to the plate in a big way. Iams scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Judd went 2-for-4 with one home run and one double. Lucy Maxon was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Berea now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Daniel, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
