Richmond is 1-9 against Mt. Vernon since August of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Red Devils will square off against the Marauders at 5:30 p.m. Richmond is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season.

Richmond's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Union County as they made off with a 5-0 victory. The win continues a trend for Richmond in their matchups with Union County: they've now won six in a row.

Richmond hit Union County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jorge Bermea-Guzman (2), Ben Holliday, Jayden Anchang, and Jordan Light.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Mt. Vernon was not quite Lawrence Central's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 1-0.

Richmond's victory bumped their record up to 11-3-1. As for Mt. Vernon, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.
