            Football Recap: Crater Comets vs. Springfield Millers        
        
		
        
        
            For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Crater and Springfield meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again  on Friday. The Comets lost  41-19 to the Millers. The  matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Comets struggled afterwards.
  Noah Solo was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 193 yards and five  TDs, while also throwing for 108 yards and one  touchdown for Springfield. The Millers are 4-1 when  Solo posts two or  more  rushing touchdowns, but 0-3 otherwise.  Adam Hernandez was another key player, picking up 156 receiving yards.
Crater's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Springfield, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record  this season.
 Crater does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Springfield, they will venture away from home to  take on Roseburg  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
