Volleyball Game Preview: Houston Hurricanes vs. Lanesboro Burros + How To Watch

The Houston Hurricanes will head out on the road to challenge the Lanesboro Burros at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Houston lost 3-0 to Spring Grove on Tuesday. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19, 25-16.

Olivia Yohe put forth a good effort for the losing side as she had 12 digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Jorja Meyer, who had five kills, three digs, and two aces.

Meanwhile, Lanesboro didn't have quite enough to beat Dover-Eyota on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Houston's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Lanesboro, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Houston came out on top in a nail-biter against Lanesboro in their previous meeting back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hurricanes since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
