Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Roman Corral stepped things up a notch to give Independence the 'W'. Corral had nine digs and three aces, which was good enough to also set a new career-high in assists.

Looking ahead, Corral and Independence will head out to take on Apollo at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup will pit Corral up against the Hawks' star libero Angel Meneses.
