Softball Recap: Lindenwold's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Lindenwold came into Thursday's game having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Penns Grove Red Devils with a sharp 17-2 victory on Thursday. The Lions' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.

Lindenwold's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Penns Grove, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Coming up, Lindenwold will challenge Woodbury at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Penns Grove, they have already played their next matchup, a 28-8 loss against LEAP Academy on the 2nd.
