Basketball Recap: Franklin County's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Concord Academy, Franklin County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 70-52 victory over the Stephens County Indians. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 70-65 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Franklin County's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10. As for Stephens County, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Franklin County will head out to square off against Prince Avenue Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Stephens County, they will challenge East Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. East Jackson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Stephens County likes a good challenge.
