Football Recap: Morristown-Hamblen East Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Morristown-Hamblen East's offense. They were beaten by the West Ridge Wolves 35-0 on Friday. The Hurricanes just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Morristown-Hamblen East's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for West Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Morristown-Hamblen East will challenge rival Jefferson County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, West Ridge is set to square off against their familiar foe Science Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
