Volleyball Recap: Keira Little and Malia Sam Secure Win for Whitehorse

Whitehorse won the last time they faced Northwest and things went their way on Friday too. The Raiders walked away with a 3-1 win over the Falcons.

Whitehorse was led to victory by Malia Sam and Keira Little. Sam had ten aces, while Little had four aces. Those four aces gave Little a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: Whitehorse was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 31 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Whitehorse now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Northwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Whitehorse will take on San Carlos at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Raiders are facing the Braves at the right time seeing as the Braves are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Northwest, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hozho Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
