Softball Preview: Leslie County Eagles vs. Corbin Redhounds
The Leslie County Eagles will head out to take on the Corbin Redhounds at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Leslie County was handed a 11-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They skirted past Jenkins 5-3. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Kennedy Maggard spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on four hits and racked up 13 Ks.
