Frontier won the last time they faced Stockdale and Talen Mather did his part to make sure it happened again. The Titans simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Mustangs 49-6 thanks in part to Mather, who rushed for 190 yards and two scores on only ten carries. Frontier is 2-1 when Mather posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 0-3 otherwise.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Frontier's defense and their eight sacks. Linkin Rosario was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. Another thorn in Stockdale's side was Brandon Thomas, who picked up a sack and made six total tackles (5.0 for loss).

Frontier's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Stockdale, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Coming up, Frontier will venture away from home to challenge Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Stockdale, they will host Garces Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs' defense better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 30.2 points per game this season.
