There's no place like home for Summit, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Linden Tigers on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Hilltoppers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Summit easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16.

Mackenna Welsh paced Summit's offense, picking up nine kills. Welsh got some help from Nadia Moghal and her 16 assists. Moghal was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

With the victory, Summit broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-17. As for Linden, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Summit will face off against Dayton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Linden, they will square off against Carteret at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
