Champlin Park had already won 17 in a row dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 461.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it 18 on Thursday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 11-10 W against the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons. That's more bragging rights for the Rebels, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Champlin Park's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Robbinsdale Armstrong, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
