Volleyball Recap: Five Straight Home Victories for Northfield + How To Watch

Northfield barely beat Rangeview the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Nighthawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Raiders on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Nighthawks have posted against the Raiders since April 21, 2021.

Northfield never let Rangeview on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 26-24.

Emma Keuler paced Northfield's offense, picking up seven kills. Keuler got some help from Kandice Kountz and her 21 assists. Keuler also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Audra Pirius, racking up three apiece.

Northfield pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Rangeview, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Northfield will be taking part in a tournament against Fort Collins at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Rangeview, they are taking a road trip to face off against Prairie View at 6:30 p.m. on September 4.
