Soccer Game Preview: Sebastian River vs. Pine

The Sebastian River Sharks will venture away from home to take on the Pine Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Sebastian River came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against West Shore, falling 3-0. Sebastian River haven't had much luck with West Shore recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Pine put another one in the bag back in December of 2025 to keep their undefeated season alive. They blew past Martin County 6-1. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 5-0.

Pine hit Martin County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Bodie Mass (2), Eduardo Acosta (2), Chris Caballero, and James Haffey.

Sebastian River's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-2. As for Pine, their win bumped their record up to 12-0-1.

Sebastian River got the 'W' when the teams last played back in January of 2021 against Pine by a conclusive 4-1 score. Do the Sharks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
