Basketball Recap: Hill School Falls Short of Phelps in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Hill School couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 66-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Phelps Lions on Sunday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Rams came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Lions are ranked 217th).

With the defeat, Hill School broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.5 points over those games. As for Phelps, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-22 record this season.
