Basketball Game Preview: Pine Knights vs. South Fork Bulldogs

The Pine Knights will take on the South Fork Bulldogs in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pine has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 181 points over their last three games.

Last Friday, Pine strolled past Jupiter Christian with points to spare, taking the game 60-46. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while the Eagles are ranked 679th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, South Fork waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Panthers 44-27. The 44-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

South Fork's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Pine, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
